A litigant may not participate by telephone if the litigant was previously ordered by the court to participate in person or by video.A request to participate by telephone only applies to the hearing identified within the request and must be repeated for each hearing that a participant wants to participate in by phone.Participants may not drive a motor vehicle during a telephonic hearing.

Participants must maintain the same decorum on the phone that is required in the courtroom.

A telephone hearing is a court proceeding.Therefore, you must be available for a phone call beginning at the time the court session is scheduled to begin until the session is completed.
